1). This policy outlines how Jiyanna Care complies with the GDPR 2018 and is in effect from “24/06/2019”

2). All staff will be given a copy of this policy and the GDPR 2018 upon commencing employment with Jiyanna Care, and are bound by its contents

3). Jiyanna Care is required to collect personal details in order to provide our services to you. Personal details can include but are not limited to name, address, contact information, and any other relevant information on your CV.

4). Jiyanna Care will use your information for the following reasons

No personal information shall be disclosed to third parties other than those trusted and involved in the provision of healthcare services, when required to do so by law, or in protection of property, rights and safety. All data subjects have the right to request a copy of what personal information is being disclosed, and all data transfer is conducted in compliance with the GDPR

5). All personal data collected, held and processed is kept secure and protected against unauthorised and unlawful processing and against accidental loss destruction or damage.

6). All personal data will be reviewed periodically for accuracy, and no personal data will be kept for any longer than necessary

7). Data security:

  1. no passwords should be shared as per terms and conditions of employment
  2. all data is stored securely, encrypted, and disposed of appropriately

8). Should there be any data breach, all affected parties will be informed within 72 hours

10). You may request a copy of the personal data that Jiyanna Care holds on you, and ask to know more about why and what Jiyanna Care does with the data. A small fee will be payable.

11). You will be informed by any changes to this policy via email, and your continued use of the service will automatically obligate you to comply with the modified policy.
